My Top 10 Drugstore Products

I love my high end makeup products, but I also like most of us here I love a good bargain and think that you can find amazing products at the drugstore/hightstreet.

Here are my top 10 make up products

Maybelline Dream Touch Blush
This is such an amazing cream blush. It blends in to the skin nicely and doesn't just slide off the cheeks within a few hours. I use it on its own when I am going for a natural look as it gives a natural glow to the skin or as a base for other powder blush when I want my blush to last longer. I have Peach which is a gorgeous peach colour with very subtle shimmer and it

Revlon Lipsticks
I think Revlon lipsticks are some of the best out there. They are long wearing. They have such gorgeous colours and formulations and for the price they are really hard to beat. I have loads of lipsticks from them but these 3 are my favourite ones.

Pink In The Afternoon (Creme) -Warm Toned Pink
Really Red (Matte) - This is a blue toned bright red.
Smoked Peach (Matte) - Orangey Peach

Loreal Super Liner
This is such an amazing eyeliner, The formula is very black and stays put all day long even with my extremely oily eyelids. It has a sponge applicator which is so easy to use it makes doing eyeliner I a doddle. I have hooded eyes so usually eyeliner ends up all over the top of my eye lids but it doesn't with this. I cannot recommend this product enough and will be repurchasing this for as long as they make it.

2true Cheek And Lip Stain
When I first picked up this little jar I didn't really have high hopes for it as it was only £1.99 and 2true are not known for having great products really BUT they definitely got it right with this. It blends in to the skin without making your foundation patchy and lasts all day. A little bit goes along way so this little  jar will last me a long time. It comes in a bottle like a nail varnish and I just put one or two dots on my cheek and blend it in with the ELF powder brush. You have to be quick though as it dries quickly so if you dont blend it quickly enough it can go streaky

01 Rose
I had both shades the rose and the pink but I accidentally smashed the pink one so I need to go and pick it up again soon. Rose just gives a gorgeous rosey flush to the cheeks.

 Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This is a very popular product in the beauty community and with good reasons. I have tried ALOT of concealers over the years from high end to drugstore and this is definitely one of the best that I have tried. It is an high coverage concealer, which doesn't look cakey on the. It is easy to blend and even goes light enough for me to use and all for the small price of £4.19.

Maybelline Color Tattoo
These cream eyeshadows are amazing dupes for the mac paint pots. They make such good bases but they do crease on me so I have to use a primer. I love using the immortal charcoal when I am doin a smokey eye. I just wised that Maybelline would release some neutral colours in the UK.

Immortal Charcoal - Dark Grey with subtle shimmer
Pink Gold - Pinky Gold with subtle shimmer
Eternal Gold -  Gold with a lot of shimmer

Natural Collection Blush
Now these are a bargain at £1.99, The packaging is crap but who really cares when the product is actually good quality and the price is so cheap, They do not last all day long but for a good chunk of it, I am not sure if all the blushes are good, some of them are a bit chalky but the two that I have are fine.

Pink Cloud - Natural Pink
Peach Melba - Matte Warm Peach

Sleek Divine Eyeshadow Palette
These palettes are also huge in the beauty community. The storm palette is talked about alot. I have Au Naturel and Storm. The eye shadows are velvety, easy to blend, super pigmented. I haven't swatched them because I am planning on doing a post about my favourite eyeshadow palettes.

Lacrura Eye Brightener

This is one of them highlighting concealer pens that are everywhere at the moment. I have used this for over a year now. It covers my dark under eye circles and gives such a lovely glow. It also doesn't crease under the eyes and. I use this as a highlight on my cheek bones and down my nose too on days where I don't really want to wear much makeup. I tried the Maybelline dream lumi concealer but it did not go light enough for me like the aldi one did and I even think it works better on me than the YSL Touché Eclat.

April Favourites

Hello Beauties,
I cannot believe that I am actually posting my favourites on time, and  not a couple of weeks later YAY for being a good blogger :)

Soap And Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel - it seems everyone and there mother has used and loved this and i am no exception. I have had it for a while but just never seemed to use it as i was trying to use up my lush soaps and I think I have found my favourite shower gel EVER ,it has the most gorgeous scent which is the soap and Glory's signature scent (  ) a little lathers up alot so even though it is more than your typical shower gel it is so worth it as it last ages. I kept hearing everyone say how it leaves your skin feeling super soft and I was such a cynic if your in a hot shower your skin is going to dry out no matter what and you always need to moisturiser after (even though I don't oops) but I was surprised when i got out and my skin felt soft and didn't feel like I NEEDED to use a moisturizer. I still do though and I love to follow up with soap and glory righteous butter. (I don't have the bottle with me to take a photo of as  my sister has nicked it from me but I am sure you all know what it looks like)

Superdrug Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser - I have been using this on and off for a few months but started using it everyday this past month and I totally feel in love with it. I have a first impressions post which you can see here but to be honest I didn't think I would get on with it, I thought it was going to be to thick and heavy but I was wrong, it does the job at cleansing my skin and as long as I use a toner there is no reminisce of the cream left on my skin and for only £5.99 you really cannot grumble.

Superdrug Vitamin E Night Cream - This is such a lovely night cream, it is highly fragranced so if you don't like that then this will not be for you but I like the smell and it does not linger on your skin, it is a rich moisturizer and sinks in to my skin like a dream leaving it soft and for 2.99 it is such amazing value for money.

Nivea Lip Balm - This is one of them staple and classic products that have been used for generations. I have had really dry and disgustingly flaky lips this month and for some reason I could not find any of my lip balms even though I have loads, (I am sure there is a fairy that comes along and takes my lip balms and delivers them back to me a year later once they are completely disgusting and out of date, she must keep them with the hair grips she takes from me), anyway I just ran in to Superdrug and picked this up and totally fell back in love with it, it is the perfect night time lip balm, thick and creamy, it healed my lips like nothing else and it definitely is going to be a staple in my night tome routine.

Sally Hansen Mega Shine - I have been on the search for a good base and top coat for the past few month but I haven't really found anything that I really like till now. Sally Hansen Mega Shine can be applied to nails whilst they are wet or dry and leaves them with such a, well...'Mega Shine'. It is so shiny and my polish stays on for much longer before chipping. As you can see from the packaging mine is very well loved :)

February Favourites

I know I am a few days late but I am sure you guys don't mind, so here are my February favourites, Enjoy :)

Revlon Really Red Matte Lipstick
This is a blue based bright matte lipstick. It is basically like a 'true red' kind of colour. I took the plunge a couple of weeks ago and decided to finally start wearing some of my bold colours. I love this shade against my pale skin and dark hair. I haven't ventured out wearing this in the day yet, I have only been wearing it on nights out. It is not as drying as most matte lipsticks that I have tried. It lasted a good amount of time on my lips before I had to top up and that was with drinking. I love this range of Revlon Lipsticks, I have a few shades and definitely worth the £7.49 price tag. You can find it here at Boots and Superdrug!

Loreal Glam Shine Stain Splash - 402 Milady
As I liked the red lipstick so much I decided to carry on and try some more bold colours and when I saw this in superdrug I swatched it and loved the colour then a couple of minuets later when i tried to rub it off and it left a stain (well duh) but it would not come off my hands till the next day so I had to go back and pick it up and I am so glad I did. I picked up a few colours so I wont go in to too much detail as I plan on doing a full review but what I will say is they are amazing. I am sure a lot of you have heard that they are dupes for the YSL glossy stains so will do a little comparison as-well  Milady is a gorgeous pinky plum colour. It lasted about 2 hours on the lips as a gloss and then left behind a gorgeous stain that lasted a good 5 hours. I can see a little obsession coming and I am going to need every single shade from the collection...sorry purse:) They are currently 3 for 2 at Superdrug and Boots

Sudocrem - I know most of you have heard of putting this cream on spots by now so I wont go in to alot of detail. I tried it when I was a teenager and had a lot of spots and I didn't think it worked which is properly because I was impatient and when it didn't work overnight I stopped. I don't know why but I decided to give it another whirl and I fell in love with it. I had a massive spot at the beginning of the month and I could not stop messing with it and picking at it, (I know I know naughty me) usually when this happens the spot will be there for months but using this it had faded by the end of the week :)

Backcombing Brush I have been using this basically everyday to just lightly tease my roots. I have a second crown so my hair falls really funny and for ages I was just using a comb to tease the hair in place and to give it some volume, but now that I have this I wont be going back. There is something about this brush that grabs the hair and pulls it back.

L'Oreal telescopic mascara
I have had this for a while and I never understood the hype, it just did nothing for my lashes I think it is because I already have long lashes just not many of them so I need volume so it just didn't do my lashes any justice, but I decided to whip it out and give it another go as we all know mascara sometimes get better once they have dried up a little bit and tried it on my bottom lashes and loved it. it has a thin plastic wand which separated and defined them really well and I can tell this will become a staple in my makeup bag.

Pretty Little Liars - I have been loving the TV show for a while now and finally decided to start reading the books. I know I am so late on the bandwagon but I didn't think they were my kind of thing but I am so glad that I gave it a go and I have been really enjoying them, I can see why everyone loves them so much :)

May favoutites

Hey lovelies
Can't believe it is June already I feel like I say this all the time but the days are just flying by. It is so scary to think I will be 22 in like a month argh,
I am sure by now you all know that a new month means monthly favourites. I do love these posts but it is bad for me to read them because my wishlist gets bigger and bigger every month hehe :)
Here are my favourites for this month:

Bourjous Healthy Mix ~ I brought this foundation a while back but just didn't use it because I was using my Chanel foundation but I decided to try it and I love it. It is similar to my Chanel vitalumiere aqua. It has medium coverage, doesn't look cakey and leaves a glowy look to the skin. I have been using healthy mix as my everyday foundation all month.

Mac paint pot bare study ~ I have been on a job seekers course this past month so I have not had any time in the morning to put much makeup on. So instead  I have just been putting bare study all over with a bit of eyeliner and mascara. I have to wear a primer undernearth otherwise it creases after a few hours as I have oily eyelids.

Lacura(Aldi) Concealer Pen ~ (I am a bit messy and as you can see it has been well loved so just ignore the state of the packaging) I have heard really good things about this and how it compares to the YSL Touche Eclat so when I went in to aldi and saw it was £3.59 I thought why not. Now I haven't used the Touche Eclat so I cannot compare them but i do love this. it covers my dark circles but to be fair I don't really have bad under eye circles (probably the only skin problem I don't suffer from) and it doesn't crease either which is always good!

Barry M Touch Of Magic Lipstick ~ I love this lipstick, it comes out as a bright pink on me. It lasts all day even with eating and drinking. The only down side is it can get patchy when it starts to fade which is never a nice look so throughout the day I have to just check how it is looking.

Babyliss Glamour Waves ~ I have been styling my hair using this curling tong all month to give my hair volume and big soft curls and it works brilliant. The curls are not to tight but still give you a lovely curl.

I am off to Birmingham Pride this weekend so as long as I don't have too many cocktails I will hopefully be able to do some outfit posts. There are always such amazing and shall we say interesting outfit chooses over pride so I will try and get plenty of pics!

March Favourites

So it is April which means it is time for my march favourites

Beauty Favourites

Ysl rouge volupte in shade 13 - I am nude lipstick girl at heart if I feel like pushing the boat out I might wear a baby pink but as the weather has been so nice I have started to be a bit more daring and wearing more bright colours and this peachy coral colour is the one I have been reaching for this month.

Lipcote - I rediscovered my love for this product this month and when I haven’t been wearing  my ysl lipstick I have been using this to make my lipstick last longer you can read my review HERE and enter my giveaway to win a Lipcote HERE

MUA eye shadow in shade 12 - I absolutely love this eye shadow for only £1 its amazing quality it is a gorgeous greenish, reddish brown duo chrome (supposedly a dupe for mac club) I have been using this when I am in a rush as you only need this shade, you can pack it on to the lid and then blend it out in the crease to get the effect of two different colours. Then all you need to do is use a highlighter.

Elnett hair spray - It’s such an amazing hair spray, I have been using it for years. When I run out I buy other hairspray but I always end up going back to this one. It holds my style great but doesn’t look crispy.

Boots extracts coconut body butter - It smells gorgeous and is just so moisturising. I have really dry skin from the winter and this has been a miracle worker for me.

Random Favourites
