I know I know it has been ages since I did my last post. I have had so much drama going on and I just have not had any time.
I know I should have done a post on who won the Lipcote giveaway so here it is. I picked a winner using random.org on Sunday and contacted her.
The winner is Lola you should definitely check out her blog if you haven't already.
I said I was going to do a giveaway for reaching 100 followers but I just don't have the funds right now. Just have so many birthdays coming up. I don't know why all my friends decided to all be born in May. So what I was thinking I would wait till I reached either 150 or 200 and then just do 2 giveaways or maybe a massive giveaway? What do you think?

Lipcote - I rediscovered my love for this product this month
and when I haven’t been wearing my ysl
lipstick I have been using this to make my lipstick last longer you can read my review HERE and enter my giveaway to win a Lipcote HERE
MUA eye shadow in shade 12 - I absolutely love this eye
shadow for only £1 its amazing quality it is a gorgeous greenish, reddish brown
duo chrome (supposedly a dupe for mac club) I have been using this when I am in
a rush as you only need this shade, you can pack it on to the lid and then
blend it out in the crease to get the effect of two different colours. Then all
you need to do is use a highlighter.

Vanilla Lipcote and Giveaway (CLOSED)
After doing
a review on Lipcote I was contacted by the company to tell me that they have
rebranded there Lipcote and was kind enough to send me a bottle.
It is the same
formula but with just a hint of vanilla fragrance to make it smell
more pleasant. It doesn't smell much different in the bottle but once it is on
the lips you can smell the vanilla coming through in my opinion it also tastes
a little better too. If you would like to read my full review on the original
Lipcote you can read it here. You can also find out more information at www.lipcote.com.
They were
also kind enough to send me another bottle to giveaway to my followers.

Lipcote review
If
you have been reading my blog then you know that I am a lipstick girl but just
wished they would just last long (yes, I am looking at you ysl rouge volupte).
Well I am sure you know what lipcote is as its been around for over 50 years :)
Well if you don’t it is a clear liquid that you brush on your lips after you
have applied your lipstick to stop it fading.
When
I got lipcote from a friend for Christmas I got all nostalgic because we use to
use it when we were younger and first started getting in to makeup. We didn’t really
have a clue about it and we just thought we were so cool and grown up. I couldn’t
remember much about it or whether it worked just that it stung really bad when
you put it on.
Give your lipstick staying power!
Stops
lipstick marking, staining and feathering - the secret of kissable lips.
If your
lipstick is more like lip slip, you really do need Lipcote.
With its
original, long-lasting formula, it will keep lips looking luscious &
kissable all day long.
- Effective & Long Lasting.
- Unique formula made with natural ingredients.
How to use: Apply lipstick and blot thoroughly, apply a
thin and even layer of lipcote and allow to dry.
Since Christmas I have been trying it out and found I love
it, it is now a staple in my make-up bag. I find it makes my lipstick last around 4/5 hours even with eating and
drinking. The downside is that it doesn't work on all lipsticks. I find that it doesn't work with really creamy lipstick you just end up with a gooey mess and it
just comes off after 10 mins, which sadly means it doesn't help with ysl issue :(
It doesn’t really sting like I remember just more of a
tingle which only last a few seconds and after you use it a few times you stop
feeling it. Try and avoid licking your lips as it does has a horrible taste and
it smells strongly of alcohol.
It comes in a nail varnish like bottle so when you are applying
it in public you can get some funny looks off people thinking you are putting
nail varnish on your lips :/
